Ali Asaria is the founder of Transformer Lab, a open source platform to let anyone do advanced research on Large Language Models. He is also the founder and Board Chair of Tulip, an enterprise software company that works with some of the world’s largest retailers. Before Tulip, Ali was the founder and CEO of Well.ca which grew to be one of Canada’s largest ecommerce companies.

Ali studied Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
